From the time he was a baby cub, Timothy has been fascinated with clocks and watches. When he is three, his dad buys him his very own watch. Now he feels important because he can tell all his friends the time of day. But his times do not sound right to them. When Timothy asks his dad to teach him the time, Dad puts a notch at the number 12, so he knows to say “o’clock.” But Timothy rushes out before his dad finishes teaching him. His friends still say his times do not sound right. Timothy allows his dad to explain how to tell time and he feels proud of himself when he can tell everyone the correct time.
