Product Description
I desperately needed auditory memory activities that fit my needs for my kiddos. This product is 22 pages in length. Included is a preview file containing 1 page from each section below mentioned to give you a better idea of what the rest of the product looks like and contains.

-5 strategy posters (verbal rehearsal, chunking, elaborative rehearsal, mnemonics, and visualization). Take these out one at a time to teach new strategies. A definition, example, and real-life application ideas are included. You can later hang these poster up on the wall or take them out to refer to when needed.

-Practice for numbers, words, and sentences. 3 pairs of SLP/Teacher forms and Student Forms per concept. SLP/Teacher forms include description of practice activity, suggested strategies, and a list of the numbers, words, and sentences to read aloud to your student(s). The Student Forms include an area where the student identifies what strategy they will use for this particular practice activity. Below is an area to record their responses if they wish to write them down. Otherwise, they may say them orally. A blank Student form is also included. This allows for the SLP/Teacher to create additional numbers, words, sentences, etc. that they want to read aloud to the student for practice. The student can use the form to write what they remember, jot down strategies, and use for a work space while trying to remember.

-Restaurant Activity. a) 24 order cards that the waiter/waitress (your student) needs to remember. Cards increase ion length and complexity. Included are descriptions to make it a game. b) 12 conversations overheard at the restaurant. The object of the game is to have the SLP/Teacher read the conversation card aloud. The students then have to answer wh- questions about what they heard.

Students are to be encouraged to utilize the strategies that work best for them during activities.
