Using this August Literacy Rotation Activities, students listen to Back to School books and create activities that relate to each book.
Once a month, the four homerooms in each grade rotate through four centers to participate in literacy activities. Each homeroom spends about 30 minutes with each teacher. In this set, you will receive four book ideas and activities for students to do. There are limited materials and set up for less stress on those busy fun days!
Each teacher chooses one book and activity for their classroom. Then, make enough copies for all of your students. I’ve also included a rotation schedule that takes all of the thinking out of your shoulders!
This set is very flexible and can be used in any situation that you might need. You could choose one read aloud for each week or for the first week of school!
