This is a lesson plan for upper elementary and middle schools students to create a Friendship Story. By the end of this lesson, each student or partner group will have created a story with characters, setting, and plot.
This lesson is best taught in 1 lesson. Perfect for the Hour of Code Week! Prior to teaching this lesson, a basic familiarity of scratch is encouraged, but not necessary. This lesson could be used to incorporate STEM or in a technology/computer lab. We used these lessons after Hour of Code week in my computer class! This program will not work with the Scratch, Jr iPad app. This lesson plan has been updated for Scratch 3 2019.
