***PART OF MY DISCOUNTED AUSTRALIA BUNDLE***
I often times find current articles or websites online to create questions for my students to answer as they read along to the information. When students are done answering questions we often use them as a guide for classroom discussion.
The questions go in order on the Web Quest as the students see it online. They are easy to fill in near word to word sentences taken directly from the article. This is great for students with learning disabilities or students who struggle with reading and comprehension.
There are two ways you can give this assignment to students.
* Have the students use technology and go directly to the article.
* Print off article in a print friendly version (be sure to include pictures as they are part of some questions) and attach it to the questions.
If you do not want to have your students type in the entire web address in their directions you can simply tell them to go to a search engine (Google) and type in “10 natural wonders of Australia” and it should be the first link its written by CNN.
