The Student Readers were written to explicitly explain concepts outlined within the Australian Curriculum, and are relevant to specific year levels and subjects.
The Adaptations Australian Animals student reader supports ACSSU043: Living things have structural features and adaptations that help them to survive in their environment. It includes information and illustrations explaining: structural and behavioural adaptations and types of movement. The reader then specifically looks at the adaptations of the platypus, feathertail glider, koala and saltwater crocodile.
You will receive activities that include comprehension questions (literal, inferential & evaluative), Higher Order Thinking Strategies (HOTS), independent research suggestions and web-based learning opportunities
By purchasing this product, you can reproduce unlimited copies for the students within YOUR class only. If colleagues would like a copy of the reader(s), please direct them to my site on TpT to purchase their own copy.
