These Factballs are a great addition to any unit studying Australian Animals. Use as a comprehension task, a whole group activity, as an assessment item or a Fast Finisher activity. I've used them in the past as a note-taking activity but really the ways these Factballs could be included in your classroom activities is endless!
Each Factball explores the Habitat, Features, Diet, Classification, Breeding, Threats and Predators, Conservation Status, Size and Weight of each animal and the answers to each of these sections is found in the comprehension sheets provided in this resource.
For extra effect I LOVE printing these pages onto A3 paper (sometimes coloured) and once completed hang them from the string lines in my classroom. They look amazing and are a great way to demonstrate learning to parents!
