The Most Famous Gold Discoveries in Australia: Rounding, Ordering Numbers and Chronological Order – With Answers
In the first activity, students are given the names of 16 gold nuggets that have been discovered in Australia. They are also given the location and date of each discovery. Students are also provided with the weight of each nugget. (in grams) They must round each weight to the nearest 10, 100, 1 000 and 10, 000.
In the second activity, students number the same 16 gold nuggets in order from biggest to smallest.
In the final activity, students must arrange the 16 gold discoveries in chronological order.
