These task cards have been designed for younger students to practice counting money using Australian coins. There is little prep involved – simply print out and cut up the cards and they’re ready to use. Students can use their own notebooks to record answers or use the answer sheet provided.
Task card activities include:
Using different coins to add up to a total
Calculating change when making a purchase
Identifying prices of multiple items
Identifying what items can be bought with different amounts of coins
A brochure has been included on page 13. Task cards 51-70 use the items listed. The brochure has also been included in task card format.
I've included some coin task cards so students can use them in combination with the activities.
