Students sometimes don’t realize the books they read are written by actual people! This pack helps you get started on getting Author of the Month started in your classroom. Doing an Author of the Month is an excellent way to investigate and celebrate the work of a writer. Your students will learn about the life of the author and read many books he/she wrote. Students can discover the author’s purpose, compare stories, predict and build connections in an Author Study. My students enjoy it each month and I hope your students do too!
