This is a great way to celebrate sharing a piece of writing. It is considered a culminating task in the writing process. Students will gain positive feedback from students’ peers. This is a great way:

This starter kit includes everything needed to make the Author's Chair part of your writing workshop. Included are a sign, sample criteria, feedback charts (2 varieties for oral responses), a rubric, an Award, "Author of the Day" tags, a sign-up sheet, friendly reminder note and bulletin board letters to spell "Amazing Authors" in a pencil theme.
