Here's a hands-on, creative way for your students to practice identifying the author's tone of a piece of writing! This is an engaging activity where your students read six short passages and identify which word best represents the author's tone on the tone-ometer. The finished products make a unique bulletin board or fun school hallway display! It can also be used as a novel entry in an interactive notebook!
