These cards teach BOTH author's viewpoint (how the author thinks or feels about events in a story) and point of view (first and third person). Students can use these cards to learn the difference between author's viewpoint and point of view or you can just choose either one to focus on. There are two different answer sheets so you may differentiate as needed. One answer sheet is multiple choice and the other is short answer. There are also answer keys for each sheet so students can check their own work. There are also two challenge cards included with three activities on each card to deepen understanding and extend learning. There are also 3 posters included on author’s viewpoint and point of view. These are a great visual resource for students to reference. You can use this product as a center activity or a whole-class lesson.
