Autism: Autism YES/NO Fact or Opinion Worksheet Set with DATA
Differentiating between a fact and an opinion can be a challenging concept for our special needs kids. Using this worksheet set, your students will concretely see the "fact" by following a series of scaffolding. First, they will color the fact and choose a yes or no response for the fact. Then, they will decide if they agree with the given opinion, also by choosing a yes/no response. As the text increases throughout the worksheet set, students easily recognize how to look for proof of the fact and decide if it is a fact or opinion.
ALL WORKSHEETS INCLUDE A PORTION FOR RECORDING DATA - perfect for IEP documentation and informal assessments!
Visual cue cards for thumbs up/thumbs down Yes/No
SUGGESTED IEP GOAL ALIGNMENT:
Given a picture with specific details stated (color or attribute) and up to two fact or opinion statements, STUDENT will choose the correct response by circling, pointing to, or saying if it is a fact or opinion, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
