Bring Autism Awareness Month (April) and World Autism Awareness Day (April 2) to your classroom learning with these five Autism Awareness Hundred Chart Mystery Pictures. Your students will practice number identification and counting skills while building awareness of Autism and the colors and symbols attached to Autism Awareness. The picture options included in this resource are the puzzle pattern Autism Awareness ribbon, puzzle piece symbols, a checkered heart with the Autism Awareness puzzle piece colors, and a "light it up blue" light bulb. There are two activity options for differentiation: a completed number chart for coloring only and a blank chart for students to write in the numbers themselves before coloring. The answer key reveals the colored picture.
Optional number cards are included for students who need an easier way to see and keep track of the numbers they are to color with each picture. These can be printed on colored paper and given to students who need extra support, or used as a game in which students pick a card and find the number on the chart.
A few links to Autism organization websites are provided in the resource to find more information about Autism Awareness, including resources geared for teaching kids about Autism.
Thank you for purchasing this resource and spreading awareness! Dedicated to all who are impacted by autism every day.
