Product Description
According to Autism Speaks, there are 1 in 45 children in the US that have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). In order to create empathetic and inclusive classrooms it is essential that we teach students what ASD is and what can be done to support people with ASD. For this activity, students will develop their research skills by creating an informational brochure about ASD.

I have used this lesson for my middle and high school students, but it can be adapted for younger grade levels.
