Product Description:
This packet helps students in the lower grades, ESL students, or those diagnosed with autism and other cognitive disabilities to learn about the subject and predicate of a sentence. After looking at the picture and reading the sentence, the student will determine the subject and predicate of a sentence. There are 30 pages which; include a picture, sentence, and box for placement of subject and predicate answers. Each page includes a subject and predicate cut-out answer. The pages can be laminated for longer use. The activity is a must have for differentiating subject and predicate within the mainstream setting.
Common Core State Standards: 2.L.1.f Conventions of Standard English; demonstrate command and conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking. f. Produce, expand, and rearrange complete simple and compound sentences. Students identify the subject and predicate of the sentence.
