Polka Dot Secondary Autism Classroom Visual Bundle

This set of visual supports has what you need to set up your middle or high school special education classroom for students with autism or other disabilities and make it visually attractive and bright with colorful polka dot patterns. The pictures are designed for older learners to be age-appropriate while still providing clear visual cues. This set contains the basic visual setup needed for a classroom of up to 15 students including picture schedules, written schedules, visual cueing for receptive language, classroom rules, and school jobs.

These visuals are also available in other patterns and in sets for preschool and elementary students at Thematic Visual Bundles (Schedules)

Included in this set are:
Individual Picture Schedules in 15 Colored Polka Dot Patterns
In each schedule, there are 66 picture cards corresponding to common activities for classrooms serving students with special needs. Each student can have an assigned color and there are 15 color possibilities. The color helps the student to identify which schedule is his or hers. I’ve included visuals for community sites that are common for students for community outings (e.g., grocery store) as well.

67 Group Schedule Icons / Check-In Schedule Icons
There is a group schedule icon for each picture on the individual picture schedules. In addition, there a group schedule icons that represent center-time when students are all engaged in different activities so that they can be represented as “centers” on the group schedule.

66 Individual Written Word Icons in 8 Colors
These are designed for students who do not need the pictures and are able to read and comprehend the words for the activities. Typically there are fewer students who are able to use a schedule independently with just words, so I only included 8 colors but can add more if needed at no extra cost.

20 classroom jobs with 4 blank cards
There are 20 school jobs included and 4 blank cards. A title graphic for the job board is also included. I designed the classroom jobs visuals for older students to do around the school. They include activities like working cleaning the cafeteria, stacking chairs, shredding, recycling, sweeping, etc. These are all jobs that students would do as part of learning to take care of their community (the school). I also included doing laundry and dishes for classrooms with that capacity.

Classroom Rules
There are individual rules (1 per page) that you can put on a bulletin board and select the ones you need. There are also 2 one-page sets of rules. The rule visuals match the visuals for the visual cueing lanyard.

First-Then Board
12 Visuals for a visual cueing lanyard for redirection
3 mini/task schedules—handwashing, bathroom, arrival routine
Stop signs for doors and limit setting
