This animated Power Point provides teaching and the testing of factual information with regard to beginning to learn about the human body (head, chest, hips, neck etc.). The Power Point includes other animal counterparts in order to help students understand that, in addition to humans, other animals also rely on senses for survival. Slides 3-13 cover the five senses and slides 14-44 provide teaching and testing on beginning human anatomy.
Concept:
The students will begin to identify the physical structures of humans (e.g., sense organs- eyes, ears, nose, etc.) and compare the physical structures of humans to similar structures of other animals.
