This set of picture schedules and visual supports has what you need to set up your special education classroom for students with autism or other disabilities. Includes picture schedules, word schedules, class jobs, visual cueing ring, and activity mini-schedules. Plus these visuals will make your classroom visually attractive and bright with solid colors for students who need reduced distractions.

This set contains the basic visual setup needed for a classroom of up to 15 students including picture schedules, written schedules, visual cueing for receptive language, classroom rules, and classroom jobs all with single color frames accenting the visuals.

These visuals are also available in other patterns and in sets for middle and high school. Thematic Visual Bundles (Schedules)

Included in this set are:

Individual Picture Schedules in 15 Colored Bordered Cards

In each schedule, there are 72 picture cards corresponding to common activities for classrooms serving students with special needs. Each student can have an assigned color and there are 15 color possibilities. The color helps the student to identify which schedule is his or hers. There are several activities that are represented by multiple pictures. For instance, everyone’s morning meeting may look different. Young students might be on the floor, while older students would be at a table. Some classrooms use whiteboards or interactive whiteboards, while others just have a teacher at the front of the group.

70 Group Schedule Icons / Check-In Schedule Icons

There is a group schedule icon for each picture on the individual picture schedules. In addition, there are 2 group schedule icons that represent center-times when students are all engaged in different activities so that they can be represented as “centers” on the group schedule.

62 Individual Written Word Icons in 8 Colors

These are designed for students who do not need the pictures and are able to read and comprehend the words for the activities. Typically there are fewer students who are able to use a schedule independently with just words, so I only included 8 colors but can add more if needed at no extra cost.

26 classroom jobs with 4 blank cards

Most of the jobs have 2 title options: one is a real-world job (e.g., electrician) and one is a traditional helper job (e.g., light helper). A title graphic for the job board is also included.

Classroom Rules

There are individual rules (1 per page) that you can put on a bulletin board and select the ones you need. There are also 2 one-page sets of rules. The rule visuals match the visuals for the visual cueing lanyard.

First-Then Board

12 Visuals for a visual cueing lanyard for redirection

2 mini/task schedules—hand washing, bathroom routine, arrival routine

Stop signs for doors and limit setting
