It can be difficult teaching a child who has autism a game. Simon Says is an easy game that will allow a child with autism to mimic a motion from another person.

--Simon Says game board
--Simon Says playing cards. Includes "Simon Says" game cards and when "Simon doesn't say" game cards.
-- 14 Simon Says tokens (extras included)
Ideas for playing:
--Place a spinner in the middle of the game board to have each student see what "Simon Says".
--Use the "Simon Says" tokens to cover up the motions on the game board. Have the student decide what "Simon should say".
--Cut out the "Simon Says" playing cards and stack in a pile. See if the students can follow the directions.
If available, print out on card stock and laminate. Put soft Velcro on the game board and hard Velcro on the "Simon Says" tokens.
