Students just put their pencil down on the dot and trace. The simple dots help cue copying the letters as well. Students can practice working on sequencing letters correctly as they generalize to writing words and sentences. Very simple, very functional, and students begin to associate words with reading and writing. The picture cues help emerging readers, as well as sight-readers. Even better - the file contains all the beginning primer rightwards as a file to trace and copy each word. Then the sentences in the file, contain all the primer rightwards. Students also learn that it is important to begin to write with lower case letters, and special upper case letters are to be used for the beginning of a sentence, name, etc.
So many uses for this file. Use your creativity. Perfect for reading practice. Perfect for handwriting generalization. Perfect for differentiated curriculum. Perfect for preschoolers and pre-K students.
