Created by Jan McCleskey, MA, OTR from The Handwriting Clinic/First Strokes(R).
This is the perfect file to differentiate instruction! And with a little creativity this file can be used for so many wonderful uses within a classroom or therapy - all while working on academic goals.
Tongs activity - use tongs to place blocks or manipulatives on the circles. Encourage a tripod grasp!
Coloring activity - use a crayon to color each circle, in a circular pattern to encourage dynamic grasp. 8 grasp training handouts included
Punch dot activity - use a golf tee, corn cob holder (1 prong cut off and the other filed blunt) to punch on each dot. Once mastered, there are many punch dot files on TPT in Jan's store, with smaller dots.
Bingo marker activity - use bingo marker to dot the dots in order
Q-tip activity - use a q-tip dipped in paint to dot or color the dots
sponge stick "Paint a Dot Stick" (from www.discountschoolsupply) has the perfect circular sponge on the end of a stick to dot the circles
Use your creativity! 50 number pages. Many training pages for grasp handouts. 72 pages in all.
