I use this activity every year in my ESL classroom as a back to school/getting to know you game. It's fantastic for English Learners because it involves listening, speaking, reading and writing all at the same time. Using the question starters, students will walk around the room and ask each other questions based on descriptions in the squares. (Ex: Can you whistle? Do you speak 2 languages?) If the response is "Yes", the student will ask their partner to sign his/her name on that square. The first student to get 5 "autographs" in a row, wins! Or you can set a timer and see who can get the most signatures in a certain amount of time.
