Description

If you've been looking for an easy prep effective way to give your kindergarten or first grade class more practice with creating and interpreting tally marks and graphs, here's a set of 23 autumn class graphs that you'll love!

Graphs in this set include favorite fall activities, favorite apple recipes, bat writing vs. bat reading, candy corn favorites, being helpful in fall, Johnny Appleseed, climbing trees vs. jumping in a leaf pile, beautiful spiders, and more. There are no scary Halloween topics included in these graphs, just pumpkins and candy corn!

Each data collection page has the opportunity to construct a bar graph with your own class data. Some pages also include tallying, interpreting data, turn-and-talk, and writing components.

Four vocabulary cards illustrating graphs, tally marks, rows, and columns are included in this set, as well as a poster that illustrates the parts of a bar graph.

Use a graph as part of your calendar activities or a math lesson. You can even make graphing part of an integrated curriculum activity for science or writing - the data interpretation questions on these graphs will make it easy to do!

Ready-to-use Easel digital files are included for each graph.

When you complete the graphs, it’s easy to turn them into a class book, to continue to offer your students opportunities to practice reading and interpreting graphs. A class book of graphs is a great addition to your math centers or class library! Just print the included autumn graph cover and bind or staple together with your graphing pages.
