Ten frames are a terrific tool for early numeracy. Whether you're using them for subitizing, addition and subtraction, or sums of ten, these ten frame games provide an effective transition between the concrete and abstract stages of math learning.

Play games with ten frames, such as sequencing, memory/ concentration games, and the six games included in this resource: Add One & Cover It, Scarecrow Spin, Take 6, Put 6, Four in a Row, Raking Up Tens, and Roll, Add, and Take. All of the games are quick and easy to prepare!

This seasonal set includes ten frames for footballs, candy corn, acorns, fire extinguishers, turkeys, apples, pumpkins, and sailing ships. Each set has a full-color version and another with reduced color as an ink-saving option.

Two sets of numeral cards to use in playing matching and memory games are also included.

In addition to ten frames with traditional counter placement, alternative format cards have been included with each set. Use these cards as optional supplements, to build your students' understanding of odd and even numbers and to help students visualize addition strategies for doubles and doubles plus one.

Great for small group instruction, math centers or math tubs, individual tutoring, or whole group modeling with your document camera.
