This activity encourages students to practice direct and indirect (not both) object pronouns in Spanish through "speed dating". There are six foundational questions that are used (based on Avancemos - Level 2, Unidad 1, Lección 1) which are highly adaptable.
The activity allows students time to process and practice individually. They then get feedback or review/correction with a partner. Then they are off and "speed dating" by interviewing three other classmates (with the same practice questions). When they finish, they return to their original partner/small group for a follow up activity.
This practice and follow up may take two class periods (if you have a 45-50 minute period) and if your students are just becoming accustomed to using direct/indirect object pronouns.
