1) a worksheet where students decide whether to use the preterit or imperfect and put vocabulary words into sentences.
This gets them accustomed to the new vocab while reviewing the preterit and imperfect tenses. They must also translate the sentences to English. I do not do this often, but once in a while it is good for them!
Example Los ancianos/crear/ presupuesto / proyecto de accion social.
Students write Los ancianos crearon un presupuesto para su proyeto de accion social. and then translate it to English.
( In some instances , they must add a preposition to complete the sentence)
All sentences include vocabulary from the unit and also a little review.
