Rotating interviews are a great way to get kids moving, mixing, and speaking in Spanish! Students are given 12 pointed questions and rotating through 12 partners, asking questions in the second person, responding in the first person, and recording what they find in the third person.
I designed these activities to help students understand and practice interrogative structures - question words, verb before subject, and how helping verbs like "do" and "does" are built into the question. The questions are intentionally split - some open-ended questions that use question words and some yes-or-no questions that just use verbs and subjects so students get practice with both structures.
This file includes instructions with two options for how to play and a possible cultural lesson to add in. It includes both PDF and DOC versions, so you can edit the questions if you want to incorporate unit-specific vocabulary.
This product is aligned to Avancemos 3 Unit 3 Lesson 2, which reviews vocabulary related to progress and struggle and introduces present subjunctive conjugation. Click here
