Tired of doing the same old thing with every unit of Avancemos ? Try something new !
1) an application for students to fill out
2) a series of questions about the applicant (using 14 vocab words)
3) an outline for a dialogue or scene to role play in front of class.
After filling out applications, I have students switch applications with a classmate. They then answer the questions according to the application they received.
On another occasion students create a scene where el aspirante is being interviewed for a position.
This activity puts students in a situation where language is used in an authentic manner.
