Students prepare their ribbons before the award ceremony. They write their names on the back, and the ribbons are collected. I glue the award plates on the ribbons. I distribute ribbons at our ceremony, where we play the song “Celebrate” and clap for each other as students walk down the red carpet (red paper) to receive their awards!
Three printing options are included for convenience. Sometimes students create their ribbons by cutting out colored construction paper and gluing, while other years, students just color and cut out.
A variety of award ideas are listed on the award plates pages.
