With this foldable, students are able to utilize their understanding of animal adaptations by creating their own animal. Not only will students need to design their animal, but will need to explain their physical and behavioral adaptations, eating habits, and environment.
On the "All About" page, students will draw their animal with its name above the picture. Inside there are spaces for the students to draw two of their animal's adaptations and explain how they are used and what benefit they provide. Similarly, there is a spot for them to design and describe the animal's environment. Lastly, the students will need to explain what their animal eats and how it deals with weather change.
There is a blank section so that you will be able to display their work in the hall or on a bulletin board!
