This packet of Awesome Math Centers is perfect for Kindergarteners during the month of December. It includes 9 different common core math centers.
All activities are differentiated and include a recording sheet to hold students accountable for their work
Here's an idea of the activities included:
Missing Number - Students will match the letter on the card to the letter on the recording sheet. They will then write the number that is missing. If needed, students can use the number line to help them determine which number is missing. Two options are included - numbers to 10 and numbers to 20. (K.CC.C.6)
Counting Ten Frames -Students will match the letter on the card to the letter on the recording sheet. They will then count the ten frame and write the number in the ornament. There are 2 sets of cards. The first set contains numbers from 1-10 and the second set includes numbers 11-20. K.CC.3, K.CC.4, K.CC.5
Count the room—Post cards throughout the room and have students walk around to find the cards. Once found, they will count the Christmas objects on each card and write the number as well as the number word on the recording sheet. Differentiated Recording Sheets Recording Sheet 1 : Word Bank: Number words are mixed up Recording Sheet 2: Word Bank: Number words are in order Recording Sheet 3: Word Bank: Number words are in order with the number beside it. Numeral Card Games: Ten Frame Memory Game Students can match the number card to the ten frame. Differentiation: Use number & ten frame cards 1-10 with low to average students and cards 11-20 with average to above average students. Number Order: Students can put number cards in order. K.CC.4, K.CC.5
Base Ten Fun: Students will count the number of blocks on each of Santa’s cards and write the total on the first line. They will then decompose each number by writing how many groups of ten and how many ones are on each card. Two options included—numbers 11-20 and numbers 20-50.
More Than/Less Than book: Students will color the pictures on each page accordingly. They will then write how many of each color on the line below the sentence and draw a greater than/less than or equal symbol to make the sentence true. (I always have my students have “Allie the Alligator” to eat the bigger number. )K.CC.5, K.CC.6

Christmas Word Problem/Exemplar— There are 3 word problems/recording sheets to choose from and a set of “Friends” to help solve the problem. Excellent way to create problem solvers!!
Dot Fun with More and Less—Students will stamp numbers that are more red and numbers that are less green. There are 3 recording sheets to choose from that is just right for your student’s ability level
