Description

Teach your ELLs to come to grips with idioms in this fun four page packet for digital (using TpT's Digital Platform) or paper use.

Go into depth with "To be a chicken" and "A little bird told me". Then students research and create based on "be a cold fish", "to be the cat's whiskers" or "to count your chickens before they hatch."

Includes writing, drawing and critical thinking. Plus two sets of lesson plans ready to modify and submit on: "Aim: What is figurative speech? How is it different to literal speech?" and "Aim: How do we use idioms in English?"
