This lesson examines the religion of the Aztecs, from their multiple gods like Quetzalcoatl, to the use of human sacrifice, to how the world was created, and what their temples were like. It also addresses the calendar system since this was seen as a religious text and looks at the importance of the dual calendars, the 52-year duration, and more. It contains two original articles (4 pages total), two foldable crafts, both presented in two forms so you can decide how much guidance your students need, and an optional assignment.
Examples of these items can be seen by downloading the free preview.
