♫Help your students practice their B-A-G note reading & writing with this recorder practice booklet. This is considered an entry level music reading guide, and students will find all of the answers in the booklet. Their job is to make their own fingering chart, decode and label notes on the staff, find a melodic pattern in the song notation, practice writing and naming B-A-G notes, and review recorder "how-to's."
♫Contains 4 pages to print double sided and fold to make an 8-page booklet. Answer pages and printing suggestions are included.
♫I am not in favor of students writing in the letter names under the notes while playing. I have found, however, that at the beginning stages, students sometimes have difficulty decoding the notes fast enough to play the song with an authentic sound. This booklet gives them some additional practice reading, writing, and naming the notes. In my practice, I allow and encourage students to write the note names on worksheets, but NOT on their music for practice & performance. I hope you will consider this resource with those thoughts in mind.
