Concepts of Print are essential to the foundation of a student’s early literacy skills. It is especially important for English Language Learners (ELLs) because many of these skills (reading left to right, using an alphabet to write, etc.) may be foreign to them.
This purchase includes 19 anchor charts in each language (for a total of 38 charts) that explain the concepts of:
*Parts of a book
Charts are presented in both English and Spanish so they can be used with Port-of-Entry ESL students, in the Bilingual or Dual-Language classroom.
*This "Color Me Edition" was created for those teachers not fortunate enough to have unlimited access to color printers. I know ink is precious (& expensive!), and my belief is that everyone should have access to these materials. Different than just printing in grey scale, I have removed the "fill" on most shapes so a lot less ink will be used in printing.
