This activity allow students to have fun and be actively engaged while working with Polynomials. There are 36 cards with 36 different problems assessing different concepts related to polynomials Some of the concepts assessed in this activity are:

* Determining the end behavior of a function given its rule
* Determining the degree of a function given its graph
* Classifying polynomials
* Finding the zeros given the polynomial in factored form
* Finding the zeros where students have to factor first
* Finding the zeros where students have to use factoring and the quadratic formula
* Finding the zeros where students have to factor by grouping
* Finding the zeros where students have to work with the "Quadratic Form"
* Finding the zeros where students have to work with difference of two cubes
* Use a graphing utility to find relative minima and relative maxima
* Use a graphing utility to find the zeros
* Use the Remainder theorem to determine whether a given binomial is a factor
* Use the Remainder theorem to evaluate a function at a given input
* Use the Conjugate Root theorem to find missing roots
* Use the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra to determine number of roots a given polynomial must have
* Writing polynomial given integer roots
* Writing polynomial given integer and irrational roots
* Writing polynomial given integer and imaginary roots.

How to play?

This is a powerpoint version of the game in which the teacher will print the BINGO! mat (one of three options provided in this product or use the 24 pre-made BINGO mats). There are two versions of the game. Version 1 has visible questions numbers in which the teacher will have the number of the question in a hat and draw randomly. The second version has invisible numbers in which the teacher will select questions randomly. The teacher will project the BINGO! Board and select a cards (question) and play the traditional BINGO!. Each slide has the answer posted on it if the teacher wishes to share the answer immediately. Detailed directions are provided as part of this product.

The answer key is provided in this product in a way which allows the teacher to choose the type of questions that need to be reviewed. Next to every question on the answer key is a phrase used to indicate the objective of that particular question. This will allow the teacher to either use all the cards or just focus on the few needed to be reviewed.

This activity could be used as a review before a quiz or a test on this topic, TASK CARDS, Cooperative Learning, ... et .. It is a great way of "Cooperative Learning". It also could be used as a formative assessment.

I want to emphasize that Task cards is a great option since there are many concepts that are assessed in this activity.

This PDF portion of this product contains 3 different blank mat sizes in addition to the 24 pre-made mats.

I enjoyed using this kind of activity when I paired students up and asked them to check each others work and COLLABORATE. Each pair of students received one pre-made BINGO mat and 12 counters. I only had to circulate around the room and listen to their beautiful arguments.
