BINGO - Solving Two Step Equations
This is a BINGO game with two-step equations for the smart board. Included is a notebook file you can use as an introduction to equations or as a review activity.
The great thing is that there's no setup! No need to print different cards that will be written on an thrown out. The instruction page gives all 15 answers to the equations and instructs the students to create a 3x3 grid and they choose the 9 numbers themselves.
Each of the following 15 slides has a tw0-step equation (x can be isolated using two opposite operations). Tap on the equation, and it disappears revealing the answer beneath. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are all involved, as are negative numbers.
I usually play until a student gets a full card, but it can be a quick warmup or "hook" to play until a student gets a line.
It can be played again by having students create a different card and re-ordering the slides.
