If your goal is to simplify, understand, and use Bloom’s Taxonomy in your classroom, this is the only resource you’ll ever need ! Looking for a long list of verbs in each category? You won’t find it here. This resource is research based—not a copy of hundreds of verbs that have been passed down the line since 1956. (You may not realize it, but this is how draw conclusions became draw. . .then illustrate. . .then trace. . .then paint—an ongoing game of telephone that got out of control over the years. When the taxonomy was revised in 1991, I reanalyzed and maintained a short list of verbs for each category. So no matter which version of Bloom’s you prefer, the work is done—and you’re ready to go! This resource is based on the REVISED Bloom’s.
