This is for all the time that you have papers turned in without names. To keep myself organized, I assign my students a number based on an alphabetical list. This number must be included on all papers turned in. This way, when I go to grade, I can put the numbers in order and it cuts putting them into the computer by half. So, I hang these up right by the turn it in box. They read: "Wait! Did you remember to write your name and number?" and that reminds students to double check their work.
