Brought to you by KODALY MUSIC WITH MRS PERRY, this is an 8 page bonanza of a song. It is loaded with interactive icons and can be used for prepping titi and practicing it. You get:
*RHYTHM -Page 1, Blue, the dog, runs onto the page where you will see the text and paw prints for beats. Ta, 2 dots, and rest are all at the bottom to be dragged into place. Page 2, is exactly the same, except students will drag titi into place instead of 2 dots. Page 3, the song is presented in 4 beat patterns. Students will drag the sections of the song into boxes. They must demonstrate understanding of matching syllables to the rhythm sticks. Tap the boxes and the blue paws disappear. Tap again, and the correct rhythm is revealed, along with a happy dog bark. This is verification that the student is correct.
*MELODY -Page 4, A student can put Blue on the correct steps, as you sing the song on solfedge. The steps are color coded and provide a visual cue to the pitches. The steps are labeled. Page 5, Blue again trots onto the page where the steps have been replaced by a color coded staff. Students will drag his paw print instead of a note, up and down the staff as the class sings. Page 6, allows you to step aside as the students follow the bouncing paw. Blue's paw will follow the melodic line as students read the pitches.
*FULL SONG - Page 7 provides the full song. When you enter the page, you will only see the rhythm and paw prints. When you are ready, tap the paws to reveal the full staff and notation.
*ACCOMPANIMENT - Page 8 offers both xylophone and drum parts. The xylophone is strictly do-mi-so. The drumming pattern is shown with two options: prepare and present - you choose.
