This is a fun game for young readers to practice reading sight words. You will need to print the pages double sided, starting with page 3. Laminate for durability, and cut the cards.
Place all the cards picture side up in the center of the table. Students will take turns drawing one card at a time. The student will read the word on the card. If he/she reads the word correctly with no hesitation, he/she keeps the card. If the student reads the word incorrectly, the card goes back into the pile. If a student draws a card with the word BOO on it, he/she puts all their cards back into the pile. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
There are a few blank cards if you would like to add some extra words to the game.
