Are your students going back to the classroom after school buildings closing due to COVID? If so, they are going to need to learn new safety procedures! In addition to asking students to follow procedures that were not in place before COVID, we are also going to be asking them to engage in behaviors that they once learned were unexpected (e.g., not sharing supplies).
This set of BOOM cards will help you teach new procedures and behaviors to your students to keep them safe and healthy.
Each card contains a picture of a behavior/safety procedure with a description in words. Students must select if the procedure is safe or not safe by selecting either a "THUMBS UP" or "THUMBS DOWN" visual.
This deck covers the following behaviors/procedures:
- Touching your face
- Shaking hands
- Standing apart
- Standing together
- Wearing a mask
- Using own supplies
- Using hand sanitizer
- Washing your hands
- Staying home when sick
- Throwing away tissues
- Sharing supplies
- Sneezing/coughing in elbow
