Directions for both Addition and Subtraction:
Print and laminate the problems and the QR code answers.
Post the math problems around the room (at the kid’s level).
The students walk around the room and solve and record the
answers on the recording sheet provided.
The kids can self-correct by scanning the QR codes with a QR
code reader on an iPad or iPod. You can post the QR codes around the room or have them placed in a center for corrections to be done there.
An answer key is provided for self-correction if iPads/iPods
are not available to scan the QR codes.
This can also be done in a small group teacher station.
That can be used as a memory matching game in a math center. You can use the numbered problems and the answers together or you can choose to use the problems and the QR codes (the ones that are not numbered) as a matching game.
