This fun game song is requested constantly by my students. While it is generally used with 2nd grade, I have used it with end of year 1st graders for rhythm.
This can be used for Preparing 'titi' and 're'.The prior knowledge needed is: ta, rest and 'short-short', as well as do-new-mi-so-la. They will learn 'titi'. In addition, they will learn 're'.
This is interactive in that students can drag the pitches to the correct place on staff, tap the beats with two syllables and get a response of moving dog bones and a 'yahoo'. When looking at the reading page, students need to tap on the new 're' to highlight it.
Accompaniment instrument parts are included for: xylophone, drum and sticks. The accompaniment parts are taken directly from the song rhythm.
Dance instructions are included.
