The activities for addition & subtraction you find in this product are implemented with a particular process in mind. Addition and subtraction will be introduced in the following sequence: first, in a concrete phase, next in a pictorial phase, and last in an abstract phase (more symbols than other visuals)
The concrete printables make great task cards. They can be laminated and used year after year. All you need are manipulative little leaves. I've used metallic "confetti" leaves, foam craft leaves, mosaic tile leaves, cut out sticker leaves, and just small squares or circles of construction paper.
The pictorial pages are coloring/writing activities in which the students will demonstrate the different combinations for sums to 9
(addition) and subtracting from 9 or less(subtraction).
The abstract pages represent addition and subtraction symbolically.
There are no manipulatives or visuals-only numbers are used.
****Word problems are included. They can be used at any phase.
The "work' is presented incrementally, with lots of practice which is far from boring. Mastery CAN be achieved!
Most of my hard products (single product or combination of products) that have 10-40 pages in total incur a shipping and handling fee of $2.00. For instance, if you buy one product with 24 pages and another with 16 pages, you will have 2 products with a total of 40 pages. You will be charged $2.00 for both (they will come in the same package), not $2.00 for each.
Products with (or combination of products) 41-70 pages will usually be charged $3.50 for shipping and handling. (exceptions will be heavier contents such as pages of cardstock)
This pricing applies to mailing destinations within the continental United States. I can make other mailing arrangements for those of you who need this to be mailed outside of the continental United States.
