Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year. Can you believe it is nearly here? If you are like me, our school begins at the end of august. By this time of the year last year (my 1st year), I had no idea what to be doing in the weeks leading up to the first interactions with both students and their families. I wanted to make a good impression, naturally: organized, excited, and prepared.
I looked high and low for the perfect back to school/beginning of the year forms. I ended up downloading multiple sets and taking pieces from each. Now, the end product sufficed for the year, but it was a lot of work and still felt slightly short of what I really wanted to accomplish for my classroom.
I decided to take a new approach this year: create my own and share it with the world (teacher world, of course). I made this product simple enough so it was not overwhelming for teachers and families, but with substance to cover the necessities.
I also added a fun piece for students to work on while parents do the “hard stuff” ☺
I really hope you enjoy this product. I am excited to use it in my classroom this year and hope you find success with it as well!
