PRINTING INFO: The most often question I get is about printing.
1. I've tried to explain that I can't really answer that due to the various printers available. To explain further, I personally DO NOT own a printer. When I want to print out letters, I take the 4x6 inch size to Wal-Mart for printing. The prints come out much more durable and colorful to do it that way. To further complicate matters, my school has declared that no classroom is allowed to have its own printer; but instead, we have to send anything we want printed to ONE centrally located printer/copier. I can tell you this causes all kinds of difficulty, because the entire school uses that one printer/copier, and you never know when your things are going to get mixed up with other teachers' things. Whenever I want to print something, my aide or I go to the copier, and call the one in the classroom when the copier is free. Yes, it takes 2 people to print/copy something. (Sigh) In addition, it only prints in black and white. I HAVE taken these extra large bulletin board letters to school and had them printed off in black and white, mostly to check that the entire letter was on the page, and that the pattern was clear. Colors will always depend on your monitor settings and your printer settings, so they may look slightly different from what is shown.
2. 2. Another question I get is that when you're looking at the image in the photo viewer, and try to print it from there, it won't print. My best guess on that is that you are not unzipping the folder first. You can look at the files when it's still zipped, but you can't do anything until you unzip it. I use PeaZip, a free program I downloaded. Even though I don't have a printer, I can go through the steps of the printing process (except the last one to actually print), and in a regular folder, I have no problem getting to the final printing stage. So make sure you're unzipping your files.
3. I also get questions about the Reading Mastery words being blurry. I have sold hundreds of these sets, and have had 4 complaints about them being blurry. My best suggestion would be to try to print them on a different printer and see how that works.
I PROMISE YOU that I do not attempt to sell anything that I have not tested. Everything I put up for sale has been either printed at Wal-mart, on a friend's printer, or on the copier at school. I hope this information helps.
