♦ ♦ ♦ This is a BUNDLED set, and each “Coins, Coins, and More Coins!” Mini-Book and the Coin Task Cards plus “Coin “CHALLENGE” Cards are sold separately in my TpT Store, so if you have already purchased one or both of those, THEY ARE THE SAME!
BUNDLE! Coins, Coins, and More Coins! includes a 20 page mini-book that covers IDENTIFICATION, VALUE, and COUNTING of Penny, Nickel, Dime, and Quarter. Perfect for math centers, individual, guided, or whole class work! It can be printed with either a color or black/white cover. I created this to be printed back-to-back, and two-to-a-page. So, keep in mind that once one set is copied, you actually have 2 mini-books.
Included in the mini-book:
♥ What are coins?
♥ Realistic pictures of Penny, Nickel, Dime, and Quarter (not the exact size, but proportionate to one another)
♥ Physical characteristics of each of the featured coins
♥ Heads and tails pictures of each of the four coins
♥ Who/what is featured on the front/back of each coin
♥ Reference cards/poster
♥ Culminating activity- write coin name (Identify)/how much it stands for (Value)/who is on the front
48+ Coin Task Cards plus Coin “CHALLENGE” Cards:
♦ The blue Coin Task Cards are pictures of hands with coins representing amounts from 1¢ to 25¢
♦ There are different combinations of coins to represent 5¢, 10¢, 15¢, 20¢, and 25¢
♦ The Coin Task Cards ask students to identify/name the coins used and how much the total value for that task is
♦ There are pink “CHALLENGE” cards included for differentiation- for students who are ready for a little more
♦ There is a “General” Instructions card for the blue Coin Task Cards, picture EXAMPLES of the “CHALLENGES,” as well as a product label card that should be kept with the stack once they are copied
♦ I left a couple of “Challenge” cards blank for any additional ideas teacher might want to add
